grad2011_Latest Graduates join the Square Dance family

On Saturday 2nd of April Dan Dinna Hall rocked with the sound of music, laughter and dancing, as David Smythe from Caloundra put the dancers through their paces.

It was a night of celebrations as Hervey Bay Square Dance Club Inc. welcomed four newly accomplished dancers to their club.

It is a proud moment for the graduates and the club alike. The graduates have put in many hours of dedication, at times frustration, and learned all of the 82 moves, which cover the Basic as well as the Mainstream program.

It is a real achievement to persevere and see it through to the end. Hervey Bay Square Dance Club wishes to congratulate Betty, Janice, Vivienne and Lois for attaining their Square Dance Diploma and we are proud to have them as members of our club.

Now they have graduated, these dancers will be able to take to the floor anywhere in Australia and the rest of the world, where ever there’s a Square Dance Event. In the next few months alone there’s Snakes Alive in Caboolture to attend, the Birthday Bash in Buderim, can’t miss the Qld State Convention in Toowoomba and for some the National Convention in Darwin, to name but a few.

To our Graduates, once again, Well Done! Proficiat!, now go; whirl around the world and enjoy yourselves.
